Using Raspberry Camera Module with piCore

Looking for a reliable wifi webcam system with motion detection, I’ve tried the caption software over the raspbian with a wifi dongle.
It worked great, but after several days, the wifi connexion were always lost.
With the SqueezeBerry, I’ve got a better experience with and RPI and Wifi using piCore distribution.
Picore is a tinyCore optimized for raspberry.

Squeezeberry : Arch Linux based

After my first version of squeezeberry, I found it a little bit long to boot (40 seconds) with the raspian distribution. So I wanted a system able to boot faster. I tried Arch Linux, and it was not very easy to setup. Here we go ...

Copy it on your SDCard. Here my SDCard is on /dev/sdb and my arch linux iso is on / sudo dd bs=1M if=/archlinux-hf-2013-05-14.img of=/dev/sdb

SqueezeBerry : a Music Player based on Raspberry and Squeezebox

Today I wanted to share my first Raspberry Pi project. It’s a music player based on raspberry pi and squeezebox system. This is the result :
The SqueezeBerry hardware is composed by :
a Raspberry PI (model A or B)
a wifi usb dongle
speakers from a old PC speaker
a LCD blue screen 16x2 based on HD44780
a wood case
a push button
a rotary encoder switch
a potentiometer
